School Clinic
Medical Treatment & Medication Procedures
St. Fatima School provides a fully equipped clinic, staffed by a dedicated school doctor, to ensure the health and well-being of our students. The doctor assesses students who are feeling unwell or injured and determines whether they should return to class or be sent home.
If a student needs to be sent home, parents will be contacted immediately. In emergency situations, the doctor may administer medication, but only after receiving parental approval.
Parents will be notified if their child needs to be sent home. In case of an emergency, the doctor may administer medication, but only with prior parental consent.

• In case of contagious diseases such as chickenpox, head lice, unexplained fever, gastroenteritis, hepatitis A, etc., the student should remain at home until fully recovered.
• The student is prohibited from daily school attendance and should not return before full recovery and, when required, a medical certificate is provided.
• Students will not be permitted to use the school bus on a day when they are diagnosed with a contagious condition, depending on the diagnosis and medical guidance.
• The school clinic should be informed immediately of any diagnosed contagious illness and will advise parents regarding the student’s recovery and return.
• In accordance with school health procedures, students displaying a high temperature or infectious symptoms may be temporarily isolated until their parents arrive for pickup.

Emergency Response
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as a pandemic or public health crisis, St. Fatima School reserves the right to implement emergency protocols and policies to ensure the health and safety of our students, staff, and community. These measures may include remote learning options, enhanced sanitation procedures, adjusted schedules, and other actions based on guidance from health authorities and our school doctor. We are committed to transparent communication and will keep parents and guardians informed of any operational changes. If a student is dismissed from school due to illness, they may be required to obtain clearance from the School Doctor before returning to class.
To pick-up a student early from the clinic after a call from School Doctor
The School Doctor will issue an early dismissal notice when a student needs to leave. Parents are required to collect the student from the clinic, along with the notice, and follow the school’s normal dismissal procedures. The student must be presented to the designated school staff upon departure. In the event of hospitalization, the School Administration must be notified immediately. Medical reports, including an estimated time of return, should be submitted as soon as possible.
